NYPL's Books for the Teen Age 2008
In Their Shoes has been named to the New York Public Library's Books for the Teen Age 2008. This year marks the 79th edition of NYPL’s Books for the Teen Age, which selects the best of the previous year’s publishing for teenagers, ages twelve to eighteen.  All the titles chosen have been read and reviewed by young adult librarians and recommended for this special publication. 

Amelia Bloomer List 2008
In Their Shoes has been named to the Amelia Bloomer Project’s List of Recommended Feminist Books for Young Readers 2008. This list honors books for children and teens with feminist themes. See the list of complete winners on the Amelia Bloomer Project’s website.
